The event began with an enthusiastic opening speech by Qiu Nan, deputy secretary-general of Shenzhen Internet of Things Intelligent Technology Application Association, who elaborated on the rapid development and prospects of the smart city industry chain in the current environment.

Long Yiding mentioned in his speech that the construction of Shenzhen's Snow Bright Project is in full swing, with Luohu District, Bao'an District, and Longgang District successively launching village video access control transformation projects. These projects generally use cloud intercom and facial recognition technology. Mr. Long Yiding also talked about the facial recognition used in Shenzhen's current Snow Bright Project video access control projects IPC cameras, which are not only expensive and have large data streams, but are also difficult to maintain. However, Welbell's video access control project uses ordinary IPC cameras, which can also achieve facial capture, blacklist comparison, and other functions, greatly saving project construction costs.
